Demo ReelMy name is Adam Horner, I am a professional Australian Actor/Director/Filmmaker that is living and working in Los Angeles, you can check me out here http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3745083/. I also own a Production company out here called KC Productions (www.kcproductionsla.com) whom have a scripted television dramedy which is currently sitting with 2 major US networks, and a feature film in active pre-production (we are almost in the casting phase). I know of D2A as I used to use it as an actor when I lived in Sydney, and booked a few shorts through the site. We also shoot and edit audition tapes and demo reels for actors looking for television/film quality footage for themselves.  From our tapes/reels we have had people book roles in The Hunger Games (Jennifer Lawerence, Josh Hutcherson), Every Secret thing (Dakota Fanning, Diane Lane) and I have even booked a US feature from my reel The Perfect Summer (Eric Roberts, Sydney Penny).

Stef Dawson in the Hunger GamesA few years ago an independent feature film was casting and we were assisting the director to locate a suitable actress. After weeks of searching and submitting e-pitches, I found a young girl with amazing talent, beauty and grace, Stef Dawson. After that initial productionm I didnt hear from her.  Obviously she went to the US.

Today I found that young lady on FB and am extremely excited to find she was cast in "The Hunger Games" Mockingjay part 1 & 2. So a big congratulations to Stef I'm so happy for her.

Braun and GarciaAt this very moment your head is conspiring against you. It's having secret meetings in undisclosed locations designed to map out your epic downfall. It hopes to undermine your most meaningful dream and sabotage everything you've been working towards. Why is your head interested in your destruction you ask? One reason: You have an audition tomorrow.

Yes, that's all it takes. A casting director clicks your headshot, leading to an email from your agent telling you where to be and what to say tomorrow, and your head sounds the alarm, goes to Defensive Condition 4, and turns on you. But before we vilify your head, let's live in compassion and have some understanding.

Kate CostelloBefore  you leave your home, make sure you have your headshot/resume neatly stapled together, the address and a map of where the audition is, and the phone number of the auditors in case you get lost.

Dress appropriately for the audition (and if you're unsure of what to wear, make sure prior to the audition to ASK the auditors what is appropriate to wear).

Arrive about 15 minutes early. This will ensure that you will have enough time to catch your breath, sit down, look over the sides and freshen up before your audition. Register to read more...
